Bright crimson color. Aromas of big, ripe black cherry with hints of mushroom and beef Bovril peeking out behind rich fruit. Fleshy black plum on the palate, with layers of cherry and sweet berries that play on the palate and dance with hints of violet and savory notes. Dry tannins and hints of cigar make this a versatile wine to pair with turkey, salmon, lamb and beef.

This vintage of Loveblock's Pinot is a more austere bottling than the previous vintage. Soapy oak notes appear among aromas of plump red-berry fruit and violet, with delicate earthy, herbal undertones. The fresh palate has just enough plush fruit to keep acidity in check. A string of chalky, drying tannins makes this wine tightly wound. If drinking now, break out the protein and decanter. Otherwise cellar until around 2028.
