The 2018 Moonshine Ranch Pinot Noir opens up with deep aromas of dark chocolate, blackberry and roasted chestnuts. Boastful flavors of blueberry pie and black cherry compliment the chewy tannins and supple finish.
Wine Advocate 92 Points "Medium ruby, the 2018 Pinot Noir Moonshine Ranch opens with pretty notes of saline, bergamot and flowers over a core of raspberries, red cherries and rhubarb. Medium-bodied and silky, it explodes in the mouth with bright, perfumed red fruits, with lots of juicy uplift and a long, gently warm finish."

The 2018 Pinot Noir Moonshine Ranch is laced with an exotic mélange of game, spice, blood orange, mint and dried flowers, all of which give it a distinctly savory, potent feel to match its brooding personality. I would give it a few years in bottle to soften. Time in the glass brings out a whole range of rose petal and lavender nuances, along with a good deal of lift as well.

A full-bodied pinot with loads of ripe berry and toasted oak that gives a chocolate and walnut undertone to the whole thing. Its full-bodied, chewy and rather extracted but there is juicy ripe fruit at the finish.
